Construct 3 Native Exporters and Professional Plugins

Construct engine's native exporter and porting service for games to consoles and platforms, including professional plugins.

We need your help with our community initiative, which aims to provide a native port service, both automated and tailored, for the Construct 3 and Construct 2 engines.

 

To achieve our goal of creating an easy pathway to publishing, we will also provide enterprise-grade plugins for game development, software development, app development, and most importantly, for publishing.

The following are the Kickstarter goals and the funding necessary to complete each stage of the project:

  •  $10,000.00 - Initial goal 

  •  $25,000.00 - All plugin packages

Initial goal the goal to start the project, this includes all the plugins and features we can manage, at the minimum, the basic features.

All plugin packages - the goal is to fully complete all the listed features.

Community feature requests ⭐ - the goal is to create a voting system for licensed supporters to suggest and vote on features that cannot be officially supported by the Construct Team.

Once a feature is completed, the votes are reset, and development begins on the next highest-priority feature in the queue.

Basic native export - our goal is to create the basic native exporter (or builder), which is now possible after meeting the minimum required funding.

The exporter is automated, and licenses are provided in yearly increments. The export package includes the files needed for publishing and testing, along with the necessary tools and instructions.

*At this stage, we can support the basic features for automation. For serious, for-profit projects, we recommend the higher tiers, which include professional or enterprise native porting services.

 

Complex native export ⭐⭐ - creating a complex native exporter (or builder) is now feasible after meeting this funding goal. This will allow us to support most, if not all, Construct 3 features.

*At this stage, we can support more complex automation features. For serious, for-profit projects, we still recommend the higher tiers, which include our professional or enterprise native porting services.

 

3rd-party plugins support - with the ability to hire more people, we can now support plugins created by other authors on an as-needed basis.

Construct 2 native support - with sufficient funding, we can also add support for Construct 2 projects, including support for plugins on an as-needed basis.

 

Secret goal ⭐⭐⭐ - we have a secret goal to share with you if we reach this funding goal.

Porting service

We provide porting services for most major platforms and consoles that use our proprietary native runtime.

  • Nintendo Switch ⭐ - is a handheld gaming console developed by Nintendo, its development kit interfaced through plugins for the Construct engine.

  • PlayStation - is a home video game console developed by Sony, whose development kit is interfaced through plugins for the Construct engine.

  • Xbox is a home video game console developed by Microsoft, its development kit interfaced through plugins for the Construct engine.

Optional platforms and consoles for native export:

  • Steam Deckis a handheld gaming console developed by Valve, which runs on SteamOS. An alternative build will use a native runtime instead of WebView. Plugins will be provided to support both runtimes.

  • Steam is a digital distribution service and storefront developed by Valve for desktop applications. An alternative build will use a native runtime instead of WebView. Plugins will be provided to support both runtimes.

  • Windows - is one of the most famous operating systems for computers, developed by Microsoft. An alternative build will use a native runtime instead of WebView. Plugins will be provided to support both runtimes.

  • MacOS - is one of the most famous operating systems for computers, developed by Apple. An alternative build will use a native runtime instead of WebView. Plugins will be provided to support both runtimes.

  • Android - is one of the most famous operating systems developed for mobile devices. Although we highly recommend using Cordova Android due to its improvements and near-native performance, we will provide an alternative build that uses a native runtime instead of WebView. Plugins will be provided to support both runtimes.

  • iOS is one of the most famous operating systems developed for mobile devices. Although we highly recommend using Cordova iOS due to its improvements and near-native performance, we will provide an alternative build that uses a native runtime instead of WebView. Plugins will be provided to support both runtimes.

*The porting service offers a more tailored approach than the automated native export service, providing actual human design and review that isn't limited by the features available in the automated native export.

We offer Construct engine's native exporter and a porting service for games to consoles and platforms, which includes publishing plugins and professional plugins for game and software development.

  • Automated website native builder - a standard, online self-service portal for porting Construct 3 (and Construct 2) projects, based on features that are listed as available and supported at any given time.

  • Local native builder (Enterprise) ⭐ - clients with our native porting service or in an Enterprise reward tier receive a tailored builder application, which is human-designed and reviewed based on their game's specifications. For a limited time, this is also offered to clients in Professional reward tiers.

For the Enterprise/Professional reward tiers, you get to keep your tailored native builder application. This allows you to independently make changes or updates without depending on our continued service. However, we guarantee a lifetime warranty under your project's existing specifications.

With the Standard Porting reward tiers, you can update your projects for the duration of your license for the automated website native builder service.

(All projects built with our native porting services are royalty-free, regardless of whether they are on the enterprise, professional, or standard reward tier.)

This Kickstarter offers a one-time discounted pricing for all its services through its reward tiers. 

  • Full plugin package - in the reward tier costs only $49 USD, but will be $199.99 USD upon release. Sub-packages also come at $15 USD and $25 USD in the reward tier, but will cost $49.99 USD and $99.99 USD upon release, respectively.

  • Automated Native Exporter - in the reward tier costs only $99 USD per year and is subject to more discounts: $399 USD for 5 years and $999 USD for a lifetime license. However, this will cost $999 USD per year upon release.

  • Native Porting Service ⭐ - in the reward tier starts at only $5,000 USD for basic projects, or $10,000 USD for standard projects. However, this will rise to a starting price of $25,000 USD per project upon release.

While our price at release will be higher, we promise to remain the most affordable option by a wide margin.

You can lock in major long-term savings by reserving a reward tier for your projects now. This also gives you more leverage in negotiations with your publishers, and we are ready to coordinate with them directly to support you.

The combined number of plugins, their overall complexity (whether individual or collective), and the total development time should not exceed that of multiple single plugin requests.   • Major Plugin Package request: This involves a collection of multiple complex plugins, similar to the Google AdMob Collection. Alternatively, it could be a single, extremely complicated plugin, like the Spine plugin, that requires a comparable amount of development effort.

The game includes both single-player and multiplayer game features so that you can play the game by yourself, play with friends, or play with potential friends around the world.

The game has over thirty (30+) default heroes and a lot of upcoming special heroes, special event heroes, notable or popular figure characters, and potential custom heroes (influencer pledges) that you can order by funding our Kickstarter campaign.

It is also our goal to convert and publish our own games to consoles. We will achieve this by utilizing our own plugins within the Construct 3 engine, alongside our dedicated porting service, Construct Pro.

*Our progress in porting our works will be inherited by the native porting builder due to the automated and reusable build process. This benefit extends to other projects using our services, leading to progressive and compounded improvements in the native porting service.

Construct Master Collection

The Construct Master Collection is an enterprise plugin suite for both the Construct 3 and Construct 2 engines, offering advanced features and APIs beyond the built-in capabilities, particularly for publishing.

Construct 3 is a versatile, web-based game engine that utilizes a JavaScript runtime to publish games for a wide range of platforms, including the web, mobile (Android/iOS), desktop (including Steam), and consoles like the Steam Deck and Xbox.

Although the engine is known for its high-performance runtime, users may encounter performance limitations and feature constraints, particularly when exporting to mobile devices, desktops via Steam, and consoles such as the Steam Deck and Xbox.

Furthermore, native export options for other major consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox are not available.

In contrast, our blazing-fast native runtime supports all major consoles, in addition to already high-performing platforms like mobile (Android/iOS), desktop (Windows/macOS/Steam), and handhelds like the Steam Deck. It also includes a complete suite of professional plugins for most, if not all, animation and development features, including publishing services and APIs.

If you dream of launching your Construct 3 games on major video gaming consoles but lack the necessary funds or capital, we highly recommend our services to make your dream a reality.

Construct is an HTML5-based 2D video game engine developed by Scirra Ltd. It is aimed primarily at non-programmers, allowing for the quick creation of games through visual programming. It is the predecessor of the Construct 3 video game engine.

The Construct 2 engine is retired. However, existing games made with the engine can still be ported to native consoles for a very low price using our native runtime through our reward tiers.

If you have ever dreamed of launching your Construct 2 games on major video gaming consoles but lack the necessary funds or capital, we highly recommend our services to bring your existing projects back to life.

The Construct Pro project is a community initiative created to integrate features into the Construct 3 engine that the official team cannot implement due to inherent risks.

As a third-party developer and community member, we are in a unique position to develop these features independently of the Construct Team until a proof of concept can be successfully demonstrated.

Ultimately, we hope to transfer this technology to the Construct Team. The goal is an official integration of our progress into the Construct 3 engine in exchange for a reasonable price and company shares.

This approach will ensure the longevity of these features and support the long-term goal of making Construct 3 the best video game engine on the market. As loyal customers for over a decade and active members of the community, we are deeply committed to the future of the engine.
